I/O

Depending on the application, various I/O systems are available:

• S800 Remote I/O for standard applications via Profibus. Also SIL-certified modules for safety applications are available.
• S900 Remote I/O for intrinsic safe applications (Ex). Usage in non-hazardous areas is also possible. S900 is connected via Profibus.
• Rack I/O is applicable when using Rack CPU or - together with AC 800F - when a Rack CPU was replaced by AC 800F, or if SoE functionality is required.
